FULFILLING AND FUN
There’s no denying that the children we care for can face challenges when it comes to playing and enjoying leisure time. But we believe that these challenges shouldn’t define the children and families we support.Because we focus on what children can do, not what they can’t, we offer a wide range of fun, free activities and days out – both at The Ark and in the community. Everything is tailored to their individual needs and interests. And when transport is difficult for families to organise, we can organise pick up from the home.In the safe hands of our trained and qualified team, your child will be able to do things they (and possibly you) may never have thought possible. We’ve organised trips to theme parks, football and ice skating sessions, beatboxing workshops and much more. These activities are a great way to develop confidence and independence, to make friends and to build a whole community of support. Oh, and to have tons of fun as well!

Parents & Carers
To us, it’s important to give parents a chance to unwind. You can enjoy everything from pamper days in The Ark to football sessions. And meet other families while we look after the children.
Siblings
We enable young family members to have positive and fun experiences and to develop mutually supportive relationships with siblings from other families.
Families
Noah’s Ark Family Days are all wheelchair accessible and designed to be inclusive, regardless of physical or cognitive ability. These events give families a chance to meet others who are experiencing similar circumstances and to create precious memories together.
Our volunteers
All of our family activities are made possible because of our amazing team of trained volunteers.Whilst they do not provide clinical care, they’re trained to look after children with complex needs alongside our team of Specialist Nurses and carers. All go through an enhanced DBS check, so you know you can put your trust in them.Interested in being a volunteer?
