Rainbow Café
At our café, The Rainbow, our in-house team prepares wholesome, home-cooked food, with a menu that changes daily.
Families visiting The Ark can purchase food and drinks for a small cost, whilst food is available free-of-charge for families staying at The Ark.
We can also cater for various dietary requirements.
Please note that food must be ordered in advance, and at the latest before 10:30am on the day.
Open for lunch
The Rainbow Café is open to families for lunch on weekdays between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
We offer this service to families who are referred to Noah’s Ark and all lunches must be must be placed before 10:30am.
Catering at other times is also available for families who are staying at The Ark. This catering is organised by the Care Team, when booking a stay at The Ark.
Choice of food
Our chef changes the Rainbow menu each week with a daily choice of main course and a vegetarian option. A lighter alternative is also available each day – soup in the winter and salad in the summer.
In addition to the choice of daily specials you can also choose from:
- Jacket potatoes with a choice of one or two fillings (baked beans, cheese, tuna mayonnaise or coleslaw).
- Sandwiches or baguettes with a choice of fillings (ham, chicken, cheese, tuna mayonnaise, salad, tomato and mozzarella).
- Each dish is accompanied by a side salad.

Snacks
Snacks including chocolate, fruit and drinks are also available from our Reception.
Each item costs £1.00.

Please include the date, time and your menu choices. Reception will then confirm your booking, and you can pay on the day.
