Neonatal Bereavement Support

Supporting families after the loss of a baby.

We are here for families whose baby has died before four weeks old. The death of a baby is an overwhelming and deeply personal experience, and no family should have to face this time alone.

Our Neonatal Bereavement service offers gentle, ongoing support for up to 13 months following your baby’s death. We will walk alongside you, offering care that is compassionate, flexible and shaped around your family’s needs.

This service works closely with our Perinatal and Bereavement Support teams, ensuring you receive joined-up care at every stage.

Support for the whole family

We recognise that grief affects everyone differently, including brothers and sisters.

Sibling support

If you have other children, we can offer a consultation with our Specialist Play and Bereavement Support teams. This is an informal, child-focused session where you can talk through any worries or questions. Where needed, we can also arrange additional support for siblings.

Ongoing care and connection

We offer a 6-month review to ensure our support continues to feel right for your family.

Grief has no timeline, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. We are here to listen, support and walk alongside you for as long as you need us.
