Memory Making
We adopt a holistic approach to our support, and this continues in our care after death.
We understand for families how important making memories is. Our incredible Nursing, Creative Therapies and Specialist Play Teams all share the same goal – to enable those memories in life and after death.
Our Bereavement Team will support and guide you to decide on the memory making services that you would like to use.
Memory Making Services
We offer a wide range of services including:
- Castings – 3D casts of hands and/or feet.
- Hand and footprint imprints – which can also be used for jewellery making.
- Heartbeat – recording your child’s heartbeat, we can also supply a teddy bear with your child’s heartbeat inside.
- Memory boxes – made up of treasures and memories of your child, including artwork, fabrics, clothing, trinkets, and soft toys.
Noah’s Ark Memory Book
Working with a local artist we have created a special Memory Book.
Each personalised page is designed with the family to include cherished fabrics, photos, drawings, and other precious items to honour the baby, child or young person that died.
Two copies are created with a beautiful page given to the family to keep and a copy added to our Memory Book.
