Here you can find information about the support we can offer you and your family.

This may be useful if you have just been referred to Noah’s Ark, or if you are considering using our services.

Bereavement Support

Our Bereavement Support Team understand what life can be like for a family after a child dies, and are here to help you through the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Our caring and compassionate team can offer practical and emotional support, as well as just being someone to speak to. 

We can offer free bereavement support to your family for three years and three months after your child has died. We will be there for you on every step of your journey, no matter what you are feeling.

Families of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. You do not need to have used our services in the past. We provide support whether your child died at home, in hospital, at The Ark or elsewhere.

Accessing Bereavement Support 

We can consider bereavement referrals for families whose child who has died, whether they were known to Noah’s Ark or not when they were alive, providing the following criteria is met: 

  • Their child was under the age of 18 at the time of their death.  
  • Their death was within the last 12 months.
  • The family live within our catchment area of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Islington, Haringey or Hertsmere.
