We raised £62,000!!
Our ‘Question of Sport’ returned for its second year on the 16th April 2026 at Saracens StoneX Stadium in Hendon. The sporting quiz raised over £62k on the night which will help to fund the operating costs of our charity, which currently run at over £7m per annum.
Quiz Teams and Sporting Legends
The competing teams of ten, made up of the charity’s corporate partners; Powerday PLC 1, Taylor Wimpey, Connect Property, Property Professional Breakfast Club, G D Construction, Alan Cox, Asbestech, Mantra Group, Nicholas & Co Solicitors, Market Financial Solutions, Cloud Rock, Bellevue Mortlakes Chartered Surveyors and Queenswood Homes all tested their sporting knowledge, led by football legends Dave Beasant, Perry Groves, and Paul Merson.
Other special guests included Tottenham Hotspurs legend, Gary Mabbutt MBE, attending as part of the charity’s corporate partnership with the club. Special video questions were delivered by former footballer and coach, Les Ferdinand, former footballer and manager, Barry Fry, and TV and radio presenter, Gabby Logan MBE.
There can only be one winner
The quiz, expertly compered by Kevin Durham, consisted of three rounds of sports trivia and was followed by an auction with some seriously desirable prizes including a Ferrari Maranello Package for two and a Signed Tottenham Hotspur 2024/25 shirt with a stadium tour. But in the end, there could only be one winner, and it was the team from Bellevue Mortlakes Chartered Surveyors who came out on top and took home the trophy.
Noah's Ark CEO, Sophie Andrews OBE, spoke to the guests about the breadth of support the charity offers and how this care is funded. Now in our 20th year, we rely on the generosity of our supporters for 76% of our income, making it essential to create innovative and engaging fundraising events like Question of Sport. Our charity’s upcoming three-year strategy “Every Moment Matters” (due for publication in May) aims to reach more children and families from all socio-economic backgrounds across our entire catchment area and to strengthen and safeguard the future of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, so we can continue to deliver exceptional care, both now and in the years ahead.
Sophie Andrews OBE, CEO of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice said:
