Our ‘From That Moment’ campaign raises £1.27 million!

15 October 2026

Our flagship fundraising campaign, From That Moment, has raised an incredible £1.27m this year, surpassing our £1 million target thanks to an extraordinary show of support from individuals, schools and businesses across the community.

Launched at the beginning of September, the campaign raises vital funds to support Noah’s Ark and the specialist care we provide for children who are seriously unwell and their families across north central London and Hertsmere. It costs more than £7 million each year to deliver these essential services, making the generosity of our supporters more important than ever, as 76% of the our income comes from voluntary donations.

The campaign attracted support from a host of high-profile names, including MobLand star Alex Fine, Sir Alan Sugar, Spurs’ Conor Gallagher, Peaky Blinders’ Sophie Rundle and acclaimed photographer, Rankin, among others. Going one step further to support the campaign, Alex Fine swapped his tough-guy role in Paramount’s hit series MobLand for the kitchen, joining forces with After School Cookie Club to create his very own limited-edition cookie. Available until 7 November, the cookies will be sold from the Mayfair Bakery, as well as through delivery platforms, corporate ordering channels and nationwide delivery services. Profits from all sales will be donated to Noah’s Ark, giving customers across the country the opportunity to enjoy Alex’s creation while supporting our campaign.

Walking 9 to 5 Corporate Challenge

Walking 9 to 5 returned this year, bringing businesses together to turn everyday steps into vital support for Noah’s Ark. Throughout the challenge, employees were encouraged to incorporate more walking into their working day, whether by walking to meetings, taking breaks outdoors, commuting on foot or enjoying a lunchtime stroll. Every step helped make a difference, with funds raised through company pledges, match-funding and employee sponsorship. This year, our corporate partner, Payen, an award-winning fintech company, went above and beyond, surpassing the one-million-step milestone and raising £148,300 to support the our vital work.

Payen CEO Richard Smith, from St Albans, said:

“This has been the 3rd anniversary of the "Walking 9-5” campaign to raise funds for Noah’s Ark Hospice, which for our entire company is one of the most deserving charities to raise funds for. Noah’s Ark provide support for families dealing with the unimaginable and we want to help provide financial support to their cause so that they are able to continue providing such an amazing level of care to more families. We love the social and competitive nature of this campaign where every step generates more money for Noah’s Ark and almost everyone in our company gets involved taking photos and sharing experiences of doing something impactful during our working day.”

Step-tember

Our Step-tember challenge encouraged supporters to take on 90 miles throughout September, in their own way and at their own pace. Whether walking, running, cycling, wheeling, swimming, hopping or skipping, every mile completed and every pound raised made a life-changing difference. One supporter who took on the challenge is our very own Community Engagement Officer, Amanda.

Amanda said:

“I took part in Step-tember to challenge myself and raise money for Noah’s Ark. The challenge was to walk 90 miles throughout September, so I’ve been fitting in extra walks around work and everyday life and even bringing my kids along for some of them! It’s been a great challenge and lovely to see the miles add up while raising money for such an important cause.”

Individual Fundraising

Noah’s Ark’s Specialist Carer, Sophie and her wife, Leah took on an incredible challenge to raise money for Noah’s Ark: a skydive! The achievement is particularly remarkable given Leah’s journey. Leah has hip dysplasia, which resulted in her using a wheelchair from 2012 until undergoing surgery in 2024. She has also represented Team GB, competing as part of the wheelchair basketball team at the 2016 Paralympic Games. Together, Sophie and Leah took to the skies in an incredible show of determination, raising vital funds to support the children and families who rely on our care and support.

Leah said:

“It was great to have the opportunity to take on this challenge, made even more special by being able to support Noah’s Ark and the amazing work they do.”

Sophie said:

“This was my third skydive for Noah’s Ark, and it was particularly special to share the experience with Leah, especially knowing what an incredible achievement it was for her. It’s a real honour to work for Noah’s Ark, and I feel incredibly privileged to support the children and families we work with and be part of their journey.”
