Glitz & Giving is back for its third year, promising an evening of glamour, entertainment and fundraising in support of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
Taking place on Saturday 19 September 2026, the event has quickly become a favourite in the charity's fundraising calendar, bringing together supporters for a night of music, dancing and the chance to win an unforgettable prize.
This year's event is also part of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice's annual From That Moment fundraising campaign, meaning every £1 raised on the night will be doubled, helping babies, children and young people with life-threatening or life-shortening conditions receive the vital care and support they need. With tickets costing just £30 Glitz & Giving is an affordable way to enjoy a fantastic night out while making a lasting difference for families across North Central London and Hertsmere.
A fundraising event that's grown into a community
As Special Events Manager at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, Rachael has been part of Glitz & Giving's journey from the very beginning. She has watched the event grow from a brand-new fundraising idea into one of the charity's most anticipated annual events. "When we first launched Glitz & Giving, the aim was simple: to create an exciting fundraising event that welcomed new supporters and made giving accessible to everyone. Three years on, we've built a real community. People come back because they know it's a fantastic night out, and word has spread that it's fun, glamorous and genuinely makes a difference."
Rachael has also seen the event create lasting relationships with local businesses, including V Jewellers, whose generosity has become one of the evening's biggest highlights. Each year, the jeweller donates a stunning one-carat diamond, giving one lucky guest the chance to take home an unforgettable prize while raising vital funds for the children and families supported by Noah's Ark.
"What began with a single phone call has grown into a truly special partnership. Over the years, V Jewellers has generously donated incredible jewellery prizes and auction items, and what started as sponsorship has developed into a genuine friendship between the charity and the team at V Jewellers."
What to expect at Glitz & Giving 2026
Guests can look forward to an evening full of sparkle, entertainment and celebration. This year's event features DJ Josh Parkinson, whose performances at venues including Ibiza clubs and Glastonbury promise to keep the dance floor full throughout the evening.
For Rachael, however, the evening is about far more than great entertainment. "We want people to enjoy themselves, have a brilliant night, dance and celebrate, but also leave feeling connected to Noah's Ark and the children and families we support."
Why Glitz & Giving matters
Rachael believes one of the event's greatest strengths is that it makes fundraising accessible to everyone. "We host a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, but Glitz & Giving gives people an affordable way to get involved. At just £30 a ticket, everyone can enjoy an unforgettable evening while helping to fund our vital work."
This year, every pound raised on the night will be doubled through the From That Moment campaign, meaning supporters can make twice the impact for local children and families. "Every ticket, every jewellery box and every donation goes even further because every pound raised on the night is doubled."
Fundraising with purpose
For Rachael, organising fundraising events is deeply personal. Before joining the fundraising team, she spent five years working directly with children and families through Noah's Ark's Family Activities Team, witnessing first-hand the difference the charity makes. Those experiences continue to inspire every event she organises. "I never feel uncomfortable asking people to support Noah's Ark because I've seen exactly where that support goes. I've seen the difference it makes for children, siblings and parents when they need us most."
More than a fundraising event
For Rachael, success isn't measured solely by the amount of money raised. It's about creating meaningful connections with supporters who leave feeling they've enjoyed an incredible evening while helping children and families who rely on Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. "If someone comes away feeling connected to the charity, then we've done our job. That's what keeps people coming back year after year."
