At Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, we have a large team of fully trained Home Support Volunteers who are able to provide support to our families within the home.
Many families opt to receive regular, longer term support from a volunteer who is matched with a family’s needs.
Did you know the service can also provide responsive, practical support around the home when you need it? Through one-off, ad-hoc visits, to help with tasks such as light decorating, ironing, support during hospital admissions, gardening and packing for a house move.
If you ever need support with a particular task, please do contact our Family Link team on 020 8449 8877 and we can see how one of our volunteers may be able to help.
Although not yet fully qualified, trainees are professionals in their current fields
and are choosing to extend their current qualifications. They are supervised by a registered Therapist to ensure good practice and a high standard of service.
If you would be interested in having a space to talk, please contact Kirsty (Doctoral Clinical Academic Fellow) at [email protected] to register your interest.
