At Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice our focus is on helping babies, children and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, and their families, enjoy life and make the most of every day. When the time comes, we also support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by their family.

We serve communities across north and central London, as well as Herts Valley, working in partnership with key NHS trusts.

Families of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. We provide the widest breadth of care of any children’s hospice in the UK.

350

Children

We care for over 350 children who are seriously ill and their families every year – helping them enjoy life as children and families, rather than patients and carers. With your support we can reach even more families in our community.

WE’RE WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES EVERY STEP OF THE WAY

Every child and every family is different so we tailor our support to each family’s individual circumstances. We care for children of all ages. And our amazing nurses and trained volunteers provide support wherever it’s needed, whether that’s at home, in the community or at our state-of-art children’s hospice building, The Ark.

We support the whole family and have dedicated services for siblings, as it isn’t always easy having a brother or sister with a life-threatening or life- limiting condition. We took a group of siblings to London’s Electric GameBox recently and loved seeing them throw themselves into the games. They even showed us a few dance moves too!

Some of the children we care for are with us for many years. Precious, who recently turned nine, has been coming to Noah’s Ark since she was a baby.

Precious’ dad Raph says: “I can’t think of a single time Noah’s Ark have let us down.”

WE HAVE FUN AND CREATE JOY

At Noah’s Ark we’re here to enable those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than patients; as families not just carers. And that’s why we build fun into everything we do.As well as being highly trained in paediatric palliative care, our team at experts at playing and pulling funny faces!

Our world-class facilities include a soft play room, an accessible playground, sensory and music rooms and our Children’s Sensory Trail. We run activities such as crafting and playing musical instruments to help children have fun and express themselves. And we’ve organised trips to theme parks, football matches and ice-skating sessions.By focusing on what children can do rather than what they can’t, we give families the chance to do things they never thought possible. How awesome is that?

We rely on our supporters’ generosity

We need your help

We’re ambitious at Noah’s Ark. In the next three years we want to support double the number of babies, children, young people and families who are seriously unwell that we currently care for.

But we need your help to do so.

Right now it costs over £5 million a year to run our services and we plan for that to grow to over £6 million a year by 2025. 90% of our income is from supporters like you and it’s vital we can raise the money we need to make our ambition a reality.

With your ongoing support you can help us reach even more children and families in our community. You can help us provide the outstanding care that brings fun and joy to their lives. And you can help those we care for make the most of every day. Please support us if you can.
