THE ANNUAL BGC CHARITY DAY RETURNS FOR 2024

A big thank you to Tottenham Hotspur Legends, Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles, who tried their hand at trading yesterday, Wednesday 11th September at the annual BGC Charity Day. The pair got stuck in for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice as part of our partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, which started in 2016.

Ossie Ardiles said:

“It was an honour to be here today and support Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, with whom the Club has such a good relationship. It was fantastic to raise money for them and have some fun too!”

Ledley King said:

“I was delighted to support Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, the official charity partner of the Club. The charity supports children and families growing through unbelievably difficult situations and helps them make the most of every day. It was a pleasure to do our bit to support them at this year’s BGC Charity Day.”

Also in attendance were a host of well-known names from the worlds of sport and entertainment who all came together to raise money for their good causes. They hit the BGC Group, Inc (Nasdaq: BGC) trading floors in support of the 20th annual BGC Charity Day, to raise money for charitable causes in commemoration of BGC’s 658 colleagues and the 61 Eurobrokers employees who tragically lost their lives in the World Trade Centre attacks in 2001.

Sean Windeatt, BGC Group’s Chief Operating Officer, said:

“Every year, September 11th remains a day very close to our hearts and I am incredibly proud to be hosting our 20th Charity Day in memory of our 658 friends and colleagues, 61 Eurobrokers employees and all those affected on that terrible day in 2001. We have now raised in excess of $200 million globally since Charity Day’s inception 20 years ago, an outstanding achievement, which would not be possible without the incredible support of our clients, staff and the charities involved each year. BGC Charity Day continues to serve as a beacon of hope, and as a model for how businesses can contribute meaningfully to society during challenging times. BGC Charity Day is our way of turning a tragic day into one that is positive and uplifting by helping others.”

A big thank you to Ledley, Ossie and all the team at BGC for making this fundraising opportunity possible.
