Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice film – ‘Baby Callum – Ciaran and Ingride’s Story’ has taken the coveted ‘Highly Commended’ trophy in the Charity/Third Sector category at the Brand Film Awards EMEA 2025 for the second year running. The poignant film fought off some tough competition at the prestigious awards ceremony, held at London’s Ham Yard Hotel on the 30th April 2025, celebrated the best brand storytelling on film.

Three Nominations

We were nominated in three categories, ‘Baby Callum – Ciaran and Ingride’s Story’ was nominated in Charity/Third Sector Category and ‘From That Moment Campaign 2024’ nominated in the Charity/Third Sector and Most Emotional Impact categories.

Awarded Highly Commended

‘Baby Callum – Ciaran and Ingride’s Story’ was made for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice’s 2024 Winter Ball pro-bono by The 10 Group. The films follows Ciaran and Ingride as their world is turned upside down when a tumour is found in their baby son Callum’s kidney. Devastatingly, the tumour was a very aggressive type of cancer – a malignant rhabdoid tumour of the kidney. Because of the nature of the tumour a full body scan was needed, and it was then it was discovered that Callum had a further two tumours in his brain.

We first started supporting the family in September 2022 until the family came to The Ark for end-of-life care at the end of February 2023. Callum sadly died on 5th March 2023 when he was just 11-months old. The film ends with a tribute to 40 babies, children and young people who died and were cared for by Noah’s Ark in 2024. The event raised over £500k due, in no small part, to the emotional impact of the film.

FROM THAT MOMENT 2024

‘From That Moment Campaign 2024’ features Elaine and her daughter Willow. The film also made pro-bono by The 10 Group, charts the journey from the moment Elaine found out she was pregnant, to Willow’s birth, to diagnosis, to present day. The film follows Elaine as she is coming to terms with Willow’s diagnosis and limitations to discovering what she can achieve and the possibilities that are open to her. The film takes the viewer on the same emotional journey as Elaine, zooming in on both moments that will feel familiar to the moments that all parents fear. The film features a moving poem, written by Charlie Brogan, a writer and poet based in London read by Dr Kathryn Mannix, a retired palliative care doctor and a powerful advocate for better understanding of death and dying. She is also a successful author, having written ‘With the End in Mind: How to Live and Die Well’ and more recently, ‘Listen: How to Find the Words for Tender Conversations’.

The film was instrumental to the success of the fundraising campaign, which raised well over £1 million. The film was viewed over 700k times and was shared by celebrities such as Stephen Merchant, Rankin, Alan Sugar and Sophie Rundle.
