Ramadan is a sacred time of reflection, prayer, and togetherness for many in our community. At Noah’s Ark, we embrace and support families of all faiths and beliefs, providing a welcoming space for everyone.
Our Multi-Faith Room provides a peaceful place for prayer, contemplation, or simply a quiet moment away. Just outside, our garden offers another space to pause, reflect, and find comfort in nature.
For Riffat, a mother supported by Noah’s Ark, her Muslim faith is an integral part of her life. She often visits our Multi-Faith Room for prayer or quiet time. Riffat says:
“The people at Noah’s Ark are part of my prayers. In my religion, we believe that prayer is the best and most sincere gift you can have from someone or can give to anyone.”
“The multi-faith room is a wonderful place because I am not in contact with anyone and there are books of all religions. Sometimes I go and I open other religions’ books just out of curiosity and the opportunity is very good. I feel peace when I go into that room. Sometimes I pray and talk to my God, sometimes I cry and sometimes I’m happy and grateful to my Lord for all the blessings and challenges of life.”
We send our warmest wishes to everyone observing Ramadan. May this month bring you peace, reflection, and togetherness.
We would also love to deepen our connection with our local Muslim community. If you are part of a Mosque, community centre, or school and would like to invite Noah’s Ark to speak about our work, we would be honoured to join you.
