We celebrated our partnership with Tottenham Hotspur with a series of activations at the women’s derby game against Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 16th November 2024.

Fundraisers handed out mini flags to children attending the Barclays Women’s Super League north London derby and our team also got involved in the action, waiving a huge flag inside the stadium before kick-off.

Rory, our life-size mascot joined the pre-match parade with the club’s official mascots, Chirpy and Lily. Over on the big screens fans saw a video of the recent visit to The Ark from star players Bethany England and Hayley Raso.

Our volunteer fundraisers were also out and about around the stadium and in the Tottenham Experience retail outlet.

Hamza, aged 10, a sibling that we support also made an appearance on the pitch as a mascot.

Hamza’s mum, Betul Arapoglu, said:

“It was a lovely day for both of us. Hamza had a very nice time and enjoyed it a lot. We wouldn’t have had the chance to do this without Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. We are very grateful to them and everyone who donates.”

Our CEO Sophie Andrews joined Roscoe and his son Arthur, aged 12 on the pitch at half-time to chat to Tottenham Hotspur MC, Paul Coyte. Arthur’s twin brother Ray suffered a bleed on the brain when he was born which affects his development. Ray and Arthur are both huge Spurs fans and have been supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice since they were six months old.

Roscoe said of the experience:

“We had an amazing day! It’s not every day you get to stand on the pitch at our beloved Spurs, thanks to Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.”

Our CEO Sophie Andrews, OBE said:

“We’re so proud to be the official charity partner of Tottenham Hotspur and not just because I’m a huge fan! We were honoured to welcome Beth England and Hayley Raso to The Ark last month but to also have this match dedicated to us feels really special.”

To support Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice you can text NOAH to 70490 to donate £10. Texts will cost the donation amount + one standard network rate message.
