This year marks our second anniversary working with local Morrisons Champions.
Together for Short Lives has been Morrisons’ charity partner since 2022; a partnership which pairs each Morrisons store with their local Children’s Hospice to raise money and awareness.
To date, eight local Morrison stores have raised over £54,000 for Noah’s Ark. Fundraising activities have included gala dinners, superhero days, talent shows, raffles and more.
Many of our Champions have personal connections to Noah’s Ark. Shelley Crawford, current champion of Morrisons Queensbury, was first introduced to the charity during the Covid pandemic, when she worked with Volunteers on Wheels to provide groceries for families staying at The Ark. Since her introduction, Shelley has been a keen ambassador for the charity; raising funds to help the charity lay an accessible pathway, raising awareness in the community, championing our annual From That Moment fundraising campaign, and mentoring new store champions.
Through Shelley’s introduction, Regional Manager Sarah Carlucci and 37 Morrisons Managers visited The Ark last October, volunteering for the day as gardeners and coming together to raise over £16,000.

Children’s Hospice Week (17- 23 June)
Morrisons are taking on Together for Short Lives 99,000 Step Challenge for Children’s Hospice Week between Monday 17th and Friday 21st June. Pop into one of our paired stores and show the team some support: Morrisons Queensbury, Borehamwood, Colindale, Harrow, Hatch End, Hoddesdon, St Albans, and Welwyn Garden City.
