Deputy CEO among raft of internal promotions at Noah’s Ark
Noah’s Ark has appointed Alison Goodman as its new Deputy CEO, following six years as Director of Income Generation and Communications. Her appointment is one of a number of internal promotions of key longstanding staff within the charity’s senior management.
Her role directing the fundraising team is taken over by Anthony Hayman, previously the Assistant Director. He is joined on the Senior Leadership Team by Hayley Manley, now Interim Director of Care. Lindsay Davidson, previously Director of Finance, has a broadened remit as Director of Finance and Business Development (Commissioning).
Alison Goodman successfully led the fundraising team throughout the campaign to build The Ark, which raised over £12.5m and saw the completion of the building itself. She was supported from early on in her tenure by Anthony Hayman, who led the Major Giving team. The Building The Ark campaign has won multiple awards, most recently the Institute of Fundraising’s prestigious Fundraising Campaign of the Year award.
Hayley Manley has worked at Noah’s Ark for almost eight years, moving up from a Nurse and Care Manager to become Assistant Director and now Interim Director and member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Sophie Andrews, CEO of Noah’s Ark said: “These new roles and promotions show the true value that we place on recognising and developing talent within the organisation. We wouldn’t be where we are – thriving in The Ark – without Alison and Anthony’s talent and dedication over a number of years. Hayley has also excelled for a number of years in her roles within the nursing team and will no doubt be an asset to the senior team. I’m already enjoying working with this expanded team of brilliant, caring, leaders of the sector.”
